As the state primaries of June 7th are upon us, electing a replacement for retiring Senator Barbara Boxer, voters need to understand the importance of this election. Voters need to be informed of the issues and stand behind the best candidate. We are extremely fortunate to welcome radio celebrity Katie Green, co-host of KSFO’s Morning Show with Brian Sussman and Katie Green. You love listening to her in the mornings, now you can meet her and hear her live. Having been with the show for over 5 years she has been a part of the political “know how.” Come listen to the questions and the answers between Katie Green and US Senate Candidate Thomas Del Beccaro. Just added to our event is noted economist Stephen Moore.
Tom is the former Chairman of the California Republican Party and previously served as Chairman of the Republican Party in his home county of Contra Costa. A noted author and media commentator, Tom also serves as an attorney for the small business community and has, himself, been a small business owner for over 20 years. He received his law degree from Santa Clara University and his bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley.
Tom Del Beccaro has been endorsed by well known national and state wide politicians and professionals. He has secured endorsements from national economists Stephen Moore, Larry Kudlow, and Dr. Art Laffer as wells as Regan’s Secretary of Energy John Herrington, former Republican presidential candidate Steve Forbes and Congressman Tom McClintock .
Katie Green, was born and raised in Castro Valley, California. She is from a law enforcement household. Katie is involved in numerous community programs including the Alameda County 100 Club and the Crossroads Mentoring Program. In her spare time, Katie enjoys playing guitar, photography, shooting at the gun range and scuba diver. She is an avid animal lover.
Stephen Moore, who formerly wrote on the economy and public policy for The Wall Street Journal, is the Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Project for Economic Growth, at The Heritage Foundation. Moore, who also was a member of The Journal’s editorial board, returned to Heritage in January 2014 — about 25 years after his tenure as the leading conservative think tank’s Grover M. Hermann Fellow in Budgetary Affairs from 1984 to 1987. Steve holds a master’s of arts in economics from George Mason University. He has authored numerous books.
